Trevor Lawrence is a franchise quarterback. Here's proof.

Welcome back!

Trevor Lawrence threw 0 interceptions (and lost 0 fumbles) for just the second time this season, but the Jaguars still lost on Sunday. As Liam Coen summarized after the game, "They hit enough explosives, and we didn't. That's the reality is we didn't get after their quarterback. They got after ours."

Here are my notes from Lawrence's Week 6 outing against the Seahawks.

Let's start with the problems in pass protection.

Jacksonville got manhandled by Seattle's pass rush. The offensive line looked, and performed, like a completely different unit on Sunday.

- Weeks 1-5 Week 6
Sacks allowed 6 (3rd) 7 (31st)
Sack rate allowed 3.2% (3rd) 14.0% (31st)
EPA lost on sacks -4.29 (1st) -10.1 (31st)
Win Prob. lost on sacks -13.5% (1st) -32.1% (31st)

Somehow, it wasn't the most damning display of pass blocking on Sunday, as the Jets sacrificed 9 sacks – and only completed 9 passes – against the Broncos.

You could still argue that the Jaguars' linemen had a worse performance. According to PFF, Justin Fields was responsible for 20% of New York's allowed pressures; Lawrence was responsible for 4.2% (the lowest figure among 26 quarterbacks who were pressured in Week 6).

Let's go through each of Lawrence's sacks one by one.
