Jaguars Find a Rhythm in Music City, Beat Titans 25-3

Sunday's game showed just how far Trevor Lawrence's Jaguars have come, and just how far Cam Ward's Titans still have to go.

Welcome back!

I'm sorry for the lack of content over the past 10 days... yet at the same time, I'm not that sorry.

Your boy was on a bachelor's trip in Arizona before spending time with family during Thanksgiving.

Not pictured: 15 dudes wearing custom Jaguars jerseys with “Wu’s Bachelor Party” on the back.

There are very few things in life that I enjoy more than researching and sharing analysis of the Jaguars. At the end of the day, though, we're all specks of dust who will soon be forgotten. Nothing matters. That can hurt your brain if you overthink it but the point is that you shouldn't overthink things. Relationships are the only thing that comes close to mattering in our fleeting lives; spend less time worrying about work and more time with those you care for. If you can.

Anyway! I'm back in full force now.

Here are 3 Numbers to Know following Jacksonville's Week 13 win.

156.5

That was Trevor Lawrence's passer rating in the first half (a perfect rating is 158.3). It was the most efficient half of football in his NFL career.

The fifth-year pro completed 11 of 14 attempts (78.6%) for 169 yards (15.4 YPA) and 2 touchdowns. He also took 2 sacks and scrambled once for 14 yards.

Lawrence was relentless against Tennessee's safeties. His first touchdown was to Jakobi Meyers on a quick in-breaking route against rookie safety Kevin Winston Jr.

His second touchdown was to Brenton Strange on a scissors concept (when a corner route and a post route overlap on the same side of the formation). Winston was again the culprit.

Coen also drew up huge completions over the middle via dig routes to Meyers (for 50 yards) and Parker Washington (for 26).

Jacksonville was in cruise control by halftime. Its win probability never dipped below 94% in the second half, and that figure was at 99% for the entirety of the fourth quarter.

Lawrence finished the day with 10.0 Expected Points Added (EPA), the eighth-best figure by any quarterback in Week 13 entering Monday Night Football, per SūmerSports. He targeted the middle of the field on 29.6% of pass attempts (84th percentile) and generated 0.84 EPA/play on such attempts (81st percentile).

That area of the field was never his strong suit. He was always more comfortable reading coverages and targeting players along the sidelines, and the Jaguars never provided the coaching or receivers for that to change. That was the case, anyway.

It may have been against the easiest opponent of the season, but that shouldn't take away from Lawrence's best performance of the season. This was good to see.

I'll have more to share in this week's Trevor Tracker – stay tuned for that!

3.7

That was Cam Ward's yards per pass attempt on Sunday. It was the worst figure of his season, and the lowest figure allowed by the Jaguars this year.
